Vancouver Contra Dance
Vancouver Contra Dance at St. James Hall (St. James Community Square), Kitsilano. Caller Maureen Collier with live band Teapot Tempest (Russell Shumsky, Michael Burnyeat and Joe Bourchier). All dances are taught on the spot; newcomers welcome, no partner needed. Beginner intro session at 7:00 PM, preceded by a free contra dance tunes jam from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Cash only at the door; children free. Bring a water bottle and soft-soled shoes, and please come fragrance-free.
