Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

BC Events Buzz (“we”, “us”) operates bceventsbuzz.ca. This policy explains what information is involved when you use the site. The short version: there are no user accounts, we do not ask for your name or personal details, and we do not sell personal information.

Information stored on your own device

When you save events to My List, that list is stored only in your own browser’s local storage on your device. It is never transmitted to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it. The site also uses a service worker to cache the app on your device so it loads quickly and works like an installed app; this cache stays on your device.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit, which pages and events are popular, and roughly where visitors come from (country/city level). Cloudflare Web Analytics is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites. We see aggregated statistics only — never a profile of an individual visitor.

Advertising

This site displays clearly labelled advertising. Our advertising partners, including Google AdSense (once enabled), may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices.

Affiliate links (hotels)

Event pages include a “Stay near this event” hotel section provided by Stay22. If you interact with it or book a hotel through it, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Stay22 and the booking sites it connects to (such as Booking.com and Expedia) may use cookies and collect information under their own privacy policies, which govern your booking.

Ticket and event links

“Book tickets”, “Find ticket page”, parking, and calendar links take you to third-party websites (ticket sellers, organizers, Google Maps, Google Calendar). Those sites have their own privacy policies and terms, and any purchase you make is with them — not with BC Events Buzz.

If you email us

If you send feedback to [email protected], we receive your email address and message. We use them only to read and respond to your feedback, and we do not add you to any mailing list.

Children

The site lists family events but is not directed at collecting information from children; as described above, we do not collect personal information from any visitor.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date above.
