The birthplace and childhood home of artist and author Emily Carr, built in 1863 and now a provincial and national historic site a short walk from the Inner Harbour. Self-guided visits run any time during open hours; 40-minute guided tours (booked ahead) tell the story of Carr's childhood and family life.
