Canada's oldest Chinatown, established in 1858, entered under the Gate of Harmonious Interest at Fisgard and Government — built in 1981 with stone lions from Suzhou, Victoria's sister city. A compact few blocks of heritage storefronts, restaurants and shops, anchored by the Victoria Chinatown Museum in Fan Tan Alley.
