A National Historic Site 'bonanza castle' built for coal baron Robert Dunsmuir, restored room by room to its 1890s state. Self-guided tours take at least 45 minutes, climbing through four floors of stained glass, woodwork and period furnishings above the Rockland neighbourhood.
