Miles of ocean beach on a sand spit, with downtown Victoria's skyline at one end and the Olympic Mountains at the other, and Fisgard Lighthouse completing the view. Across the road, the lagoon itself is a National Migratory Bird Sanctuary — one of only seven in BC — and a stopover for birds travelling between North and South America.
