Old-growth temperate rainforest about 17 km from downtown, where the Goldstream River runs under giant cedars and maples. In autumn the river fills with returning salmon — the park's famous salmon run — and the trails lead to waterfalls and the Freeman King Visitor Centre (Nature House).
