📋 Good to know before you bookAn Outdoor Special Event Permit is required for larger outdoor events — the City's Community Special Events Resource Manual directs organizers to the Special Events Team for events that are open to the public, held outdoors in whole or in part, likely to be attended by 200 or more people, with a beverage garden, on Agricultural Land Reserve, or posing a level of risk not normally expected with the use of the property; the permit application fee must be paid and all documents submitted before the permit is issued. Insurance is required for events held in the City of Abbotsford: a minimum of $2,000,000 liability listing the City of Abbotsford as additional insured, and for events on Parks, Recreation & Culture property both the City and School District #34 must be named; events requiring street closures require $5,000,000 or greater comprehensive general liability, and liquor service requires Host Liability coverage added to the organizer's insurance. Serving or selling alcohol requires a Special Occasion Licence (separate licences for public vs private special occasions, with Abbotsford Police Department approval and a Serving It Right certificate). Some park picnic shelters have power and water options and require a key signed out from the PRC office; parks attached to schools may also require School District #34 permission.

How to read this listing. We checked — on the date shown — that this programme is real, publicly listed, and rents the spaces described, using the operator’s own pages. That’s a listing check, not an inspection and not a recommendation: we haven’t attended events there or verified insurance or licences. Prices, capacity and availability come from the operator’s own schedule and can change — confirm directly with the operator before you book or pay anything.
