⛔ Key restrictions in the operator’s own policyThe district readily makes its facilities available for community use throughout the school year, generally after 5:00 p.m.; rentals cannot be arranged more than 6 months in advance and rates vary according to group classification, facility type and custodial time (no space rate card is published on the district rentals pages, checked 2026-10-23). Terms & Conditions Governing Use of School Facilities (Updated May 2025): subletting is not permitted; the district reserves the right to deny rentals if the activity is unsafe, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate based on district policies and its Justice and Equity Action Plan (JEAP); users must carry their own accident and liability insurance and provide proof upon request; consumption of liquor requires written approval, a Special Occasion Licence, and a Serving It Right Certificate; rentals for private parties are at the discretion of the school principal; no food is allowed in gymnasiums without approval; the district may preempt facility use for school functions. Weekend rentals carry an additional custodial charge (four-hour minimum on weekends). For use of school fields, contact the Delta Parks and Recreation Department at 604-946-3304.
