Use policy — as the operator publishes it
⛔ Key restrictions in the operator’s own policyAlcohol, fires, and bouncy castles are not permitted in municipal parks; fire restrictions limit cooking to propane barbecues supplied by the user group (Picnic Shelters Handbook). Picnic shelter rentals provide exclusive access to the picnic shelter only — the park itself is open for public use and the renter must not restrict the public from accessing park amenities. Booking requests through the Facility Bookings team must be made five business days in advance; online reservation is only available for groups with 50 or less participants (groups over 50 contact the facility bookings team). Cancellation policy: full refund for cancellations 14 days in advance; 50% refund less than 14 days in advance; full amount charged less than 48 hours in advance; no transfer or refund within 14 days for rain or inclement weather. Certain shelters require keys (a $10.00 refundable deposit applies; pick up at Maple Ridge Leisure Centre the day of or one day prior; return within 24 hours). Maple Ridge Park Picnic Shelter is available at reduced capacity (50 people) during 2026 construction of three new picnic shelters.

How to read this listing. We checked — on the date shown — that this programme is real, publicly listed, and rents the spaces described, using the operator’s own pages. That’s a listing check, not an inspection and not a recommendation: we haven’t attended events there or verified insurance or licences. Prices, capacity and availability come from the operator’s own schedule and can change — confirm directly with the operator before you book or pay anything.
