Use policy — as the operator publishes it
⛔ Key restrictions in the operator’s own policyA Special Event/Use Permit is required if an event involves any of: more than 50 people in attendance (participants or spectators); special requirements such as amplification, generators, tents, or equipment; the activity is publicly advertised; exclusive use of an area other than a reservable facility; the activity occurs outside park hours; an organized route; participants/spectators charged a fee or minimum donation; or an impact on other park users or surrounding residents. Applications may be made up to one year in advance and must be submitted at least 30 days before the event; submitting does not guarantee approval. Insurance: the permit form requires commercial general liability insurance of not less than $5 million (Canadian) per occurrence with the Metro Vancouver Regional District as additional insured, with a certificate provided before use (Metro Vancouver may waive insurance requirements in its sole discretion). Alcohol: 'Serving alcohol is not permitted' at picnic shelters; for special events where liquor will be served, the applicant must submit an event safety plan and site fencing plans and obtain permits/approvals from the BC Liquor Control and Licensing Branch — at Cammidge House, a provincial government issued Special Event Permit is required in order to serve liquor, and catering/liquor service is not provided. Metro Vancouver Regional Parks does not allow inflatables such as bouncy castles. Picnic shelter reservations: up to 1 year in advance, available from 7:30 am until 30 minutes before park closing.

How to read this listing. We checked — on the date shown — that this programme is real, publicly listed, and rents the spaces described, using the operator’s own pages. That’s a listing check, not an inspection and not a recommendation: we haven’t attended events there or verified insurance or licences. Prices, capacity and availability come from the operator’s own schedule and can change — confirm directly with the operator before you book or pay anything.
