Every figure is copied exactly as published in BC Parks — Picnic shelters (reservations page); BC Parks Recreation User Fees Regulation, B.C. Reg. 136/2009 (consolidation current to February 17, 2026, last amended January 30, 2026); Park, Conservancy and Recreation Area Regulation Schedule K (fee schedule linked from gov.bc.ca park-permit pages) — nothing is estimated or rounded by us. Schedule: Consolidation current to February 17, 2026. Schedule K re-checked 2026-10-23 against the current Park, Conservancy and Recreation Area Regulation consolidation on BC Laws (current to October 20, 2026): Schedule K Part 1 item 1 ($250) and item 14 ($250) and Part 4 item 2(a) confirmed verbatim and kept; the film production application fee is $200 in the current Schedule K Part 1 item 21 — the $500 figure came from the archived pre-2017 text, so that entry was removed 2026-10-23 rather than carried unverified.. Add-ons (custodial, security, insurance, taxes) apply exactly as the operator’s schedule states.

Use policy — as the operator publishes it
⛔ Key restrictions in the operator’s own policyPicnic shelters (BC Parks reservations page, checked 2026-10-23): anyone over 16 can reserve via camping.bcparks.ca or by phone; shelters are reserved one day at a time, up to one year in advance, with all fees paid in advance; shelters are typically usable 8 am to 8 pm with no overnight use, and maximum party size varies between parks, campgrounds and shelters. Starting in 2027, visitors from outside B.C. pay an additional $20 non-resident fee for picnic shelter reservations; the Youth Group Rate, Seniors Discount and Social Services Camping Fee Exemption do not apply to picnic shelters. Alcohol: BC Parks park pages state consumption of alcohol is prohibited except in your campsite (e.g. Skihist Park: 'Consumption of alcohol is prohibited, except in your campsite'), so alcohol is not permitted at group picnic/day-use sites; quiet hours in campgrounds are 10pm to 7am with music and generators shut off. Park Use Permits (gov.bc.ca): application fees are non-refundable and applications submitted without the required fee will not be processed; a permit holder must meet the permit's annual requirements, such as proof of insurance, fees and reports, and obtain all other applicable licences, tenures or permits before a park use permit is issued. A 'group' is 15 or more persons and a 'youth group' is 12 or more persons under the Recreation User Fees Regulation definitions.

How to read this listing. We checked — on the date shown — that this programme is real, publicly listed, and rents the spaces described, using the operator’s own pages. That’s a listing check, not an inspection and not a recommendation: we haven’t attended events there or verified insurance or licences. Prices, capacity and availability come from the operator’s own schedule and can change — confirm directly with the operator before you book or pay anything.
