Use policy — as the operator publishes it
⛔ Key restrictions in the operator’s own policyPicnic shelters: 'Use of picnic shelters is subject to CRD Regional Parks bylaws and regulations. Alcohol, smoking and open fires are not permitted. Barbeques are permitted.' (Park Use Confirmation page, checked 2026-10-23). School/group field trips to a beach or forest in a CRD regional park must be notified in advance via the online form on the same page; the CRD may ask a group to pick another date if the park has reached capacity on the requested date. Island View Beach Regional Park page: camping outside the campground, open fires outside designated fire pits, and alcohol are not allowed in the park; in the campground, alcohol is not permitted outside the campsite, smoking is prohibited, quiet time is 10pm to 7am, and the maximum stay is 14 days per calendar year. No separate regional-parks special-event permit fee, amplified-sound rule, or insurance requirement is published on the CRD Park Use Confirmation page (checked 2026-10-23) — CRD special park use permits published elsewhere on crd.ca are for community parks administered by local commissions (e.g. Pender Island, Juan de Fuca), not the regional parks system.

How to read this listing. We checked — on the date shown — that this programme is real, publicly listed, and rents the spaces described, using the operator’s own pages. That’s a listing check, not an inspection and not a recommendation: we haven’t attended events there or verified insurance or licences. Prices, capacity and availability come from the operator’s own schedule and can change — confirm directly with the operator before you book or pay anything.
