On Halloween, Downtown Sidney becomes car-free, offering a safe and welcoming space for families and kids in costume to enjoy a fun, community-focused trick-or-treating event. Visit various businesses and treat stations around Sidney as well as many local merchants. Organized by the Peninsula Celebrations Society; its event page states the 2026 edition runs Saturday October 31, 4:30 to 6:00 PM on Beacon Avenue, and publishes no admission price.
